Qingshan Guan--CET Experimental Project in Hebei

Launching Ceremony

On Aug.14th, the opening ceremony of CET (China Ethnic Tourism programme ) experimental project zone of AKPRO was held in Qingshan Guan Great Wall Tourism Resort in Qianxi County, ( Hebei Province). Mr. Khalid Malik, UN Resident Coordinator in China and the representative of UNDP in China, attended the ceremony to present a speech.

Qingshanguan is the first tourism project that AKPRO carried out under CET programme, AKPRO trys to incorporate its CET principles and obtain some successful experiences of tourism project that may be applied to other ethnic minority regions with necessary adjustment.

Data: the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is an administration institution of U.N. on technology support. It was founded in November of 1965. Its general headquarters is in New York. It aims at helping developing countries with their economic and social development and supplying them with systematic and continuous support. China began to take part in their activities from October, 1972. In September of 1979, UNDP established a representative office in China.
